Hargrave Heritage Society
 Timeline of Events

03/12/2022 The first of our talks took place on Saturday 3rd December 2022 in the Village Hall at 2pm. Hargrave resident David Ellin gave a talk on “Discovering village history through field walking and metal detecting finds.” David is an avid metal detectorist, who with others has made many significant discoveries in and around this area and contributed greatly to the knowledge of this area going back centuries. The event was attended by 16 people and was quite a social gathering. In addition to the talk, refreshments were made available and everyone had the opportunity to discuss hargrave Heritage. Some more pictures have also been donated which all helps to embelish the website. The next meeting will be in the new year when a topic is chosen and a speaker arranged.

08/10/2022 The next meeting was scheduled for 8th October 2022, slightly later than originally planned, where people were invited to come along and identify characters on old photographs and to bring along any photos of there own which may contribute to the website.
